34 Havanese dogs get care at shelter

After some had been kept in a U-Haul van for a few hours, more than 30 dogs are getting a new start at the Toledo Area Humane Society. The Maumee-based humane law-enforcement organization on Tuesday removed 34 Havanese dogs owned by Mike Keyser and Kimberly Martin of the 2800 block of Wanamaker Drive in West Toledo. Mr. Keyser signed a surrender form giving all of the dogs to the humane society.
