The company has created a 27% improvement in energy efficiency. The plant has installed new lighting, added solar panels, and implemented energy-saving in parts washing, among other projects. In addition, it has reduced its contribution to the local landfill to zero and uses energy generated from a Michigan methane plant for 20 % of its energy needs.
