Pictures of the Week: October 10-16, 2016

smile-jpg-1

Monday Memories: Getting her picture taken is an auspicious occasion for any young lady, and Louise, a chimpanzee at the Toledo Zoo, reacts with a big smile. But the Blade's photographer was incidental to this scene. John Sinkovic, X-ray technician at St. Vincent's Hospital, shown with Louise, was at the zoo to X-ray several of the chimps. He'll use the film in a display later this month at the annual convention of the Ohio Society of X-ray Technicians, showing the similarity of X-rays of children and chimps.
