Chad Miller does an outstanding job of teaching students from grades seven to 12 in the areas of wood and metal-working, home maintenance, and computer-aided design. His donations in terms of money and labor to the school are tremendous, having helped in the funding for the electronic sign in front of our school, exterior signs on our weight room building honoring our athletes, and a youth soccer program. In addition to his work in the classroom, Mr. Miller also serves as the assistant wrestling coach at Woodmore High School.
For the 2009-2010 school year, Mr. Miller initiated a recycling program at the high school, with plans to expand to the elementary school as well. With the help of students, he has put in many hours in coordinating the recycling of paper and plastic, a process that had never been followed at our school.
“Mr. Miller's performance both inside and outside the classroom are noteworthy,” said Ralph Myers, principal.
“He does so many behind-the-scene activities in the way of donations to the school that many are not aware of the generosity he provides for us at Woodmore.”
He holds a degree in industrial technology from Ohio State University.
