SANDUSKY, Ohio — Cedar Point in northern Ohio is kicking off the opening of its 142nd season without its latest thrill ride.
The amusement park opens its doors Saturday.
Park officials hope to have their newest ride ready by the end of the month.

Too much wind and rain delayed the park's latest attraction called WindSeeker. The new swing ride will take thrill seekers 300 feet in the air and spin them in a circle above Lake Erie.
Cedar Point in Sandusky also has a new restaurant opening this year that specializes in gourmet hot dogs.
The amusement park will be open every day through Labor Day. It features 74 rides, including 17 roller coasters.
