TIFFIN — Tiffin University’s president will retire next year.

The private Seneca County university with 4,200 students announced the retirement of Paul Marion, 69, on Wednesday. He will retire June 30.

The university will begin a search for a new president, whom officials expect to start work the day after Mr. Marion’s departure.

Mr. Marion became president in 2002.
