2 Toledoans plead guilty to robberies of shops

Two Toledoans pleaded guilty Wednesday before Lucas County Common Pleas Judge Michael Goulding to their parts in two holdups committed by two serial robbers.

Ieasha Bates, 23, of 434 Southgate Circle Dr. pleaded guilty to robbery for driving the getaway car June 6 when Leroy Alcorn and DeJuan Willingham robbed Saveway Market Red & White, 1936 Broadway.

Sean Robinson, 28, of 515 Western Ave. pleaded guilty to robbery for checking out the Stop ‘N’ Go, 1256 Broadway St., for Alcorn and Willingham just before they robbed the store on May 19.

Bates and Robinson face up to eight years in prison at sentencing Feb. 18. Willingham, who pleaded guilty to six counts of aggravated robbery, is to be sentenced Feb. 18. Alcorn was sentenced last week to 40 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to 10 counts of aggravated robbery and one count of felonious assault.
