Owens recognizes its place in history

Stacia Kuceyeski, outreach director for the Ohio History Connection, formerly the Ohio Historical Society, and her father, Philip Kuceyeski, unveil a historical marker outside Heritage Hall at Owens Community College’s Perrysburg Township campus. The site was formerly occupied by the Rossford Army Ordnance Depot from 1941-63. As part of the college’s 50th anniversary celebration this year, the campus community Monday recognized the role the depot played during World War II and in the Cold War.
