Eight students had to be evacuated from a school bus after the vehicle got stuck in a sinkhole on Ketukkee Trail near Mayport Drive in North Toledo.

It was not immediately clear what school the students were from, but the bus was from the Washington Local School district. No one was injured in the incident, which happened shortly before 2:45 p.m.

Toledo police said that the bus approached the hole, which was a couple feet deep and spanned the width of the road, and the driving saw the road shifting but the right tire of the bus got stuck. A water main break at the same location was spewing water onto the road and the students were helped off the bus.

Police closed off the road.
