Toledo’s PNC building sold for $9.6M to PLT

Downtown Toledo’s PNC Bank building, which opened in 1930 and for decades served as the headquarters of Owens-Illinois, has been sold.

The former owners, 405 Madison Ltd. LLC, an investment group headed by local DiSalle Real Estate Co. executive William Thees, sold the 27-story edifice for $9.6 million on March 31, Lucas County records show.

The new owner is PLT Holdings, a limited liability company that registered to do business in Ohio in 2013.
