More than 8,000 people in Lucas County are without power, according to Toledo Edison.
The outages are widespread from south of Swanton to near Oregon, the outage report shows.
Emergency crews are responding to multiple reports of wires and trees down.

High water has also been reported near Eleanor Avenue and Westway Street, and Berdan Avenue and Jeep Parkway.
Some areas that are affected by wires down:
Toledo
- 2400 block of Lawrence Avenue.
- 5000 block of Jamieson Drive.
- 3700 block of Lauderdale Drive.
Sylvania

- 5900 block of Jeffrey Lane.
- 7500 block of King Acres Drive.
- King Acres and North King Road.
- North King Road and Central Avenue.
- 5200 block of Bilby Way.
- 4700 block of Vineyard Road, Sylvania.
- 4800 block of Brinthaven Road, Sylvania.
- 7000 block of Erie Street.
- North King Road and Holstein Road
Other
- 29 North Goodyear Street, Oregon.
Toledo Edison is reporting some areas may be restored power around 10:30 p.m., while other incidents are still being investigated.
Sylvania crews also responded to a house fire in the 3700 block of Wheatlands Road, according to report logs.
