The Press Club of Toledo will host a panel discussion on how to get news coverage.

The discussion, titled “Approaching The Media Effectively: A Discussion for Nonprofits, Organizations, Artists, and Entrepreneurs,” will include Kim Bates, assistant managing editor of The Blade, Allie Hausfeld, weekend anchor and reporter at WTOL Channel 11, and B.J. Fischer, director of strategic operations for Thread Marketing Group.

The free panel will try to teach people with stories to tell how and when to contact the media to best communicate their message. The panel will be moderated by Chrys Peterson, and will start at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the Huntington Room at the Main Library downtown.
