Jerusalem Township Trustee Joe Kiss was found dead Wednesday afternoon.

Township fire Chief Tony Parasiliti said family members found Mr. Kiss, 52, in his bedroom. The call came in about 2 p.m.

Chief Parasiliti said there were no efforts to resuscitate him. The cause of death wasn’t immediately known.

Mr. Kiss owned the Maumee Bay General Store in Oregon and was an Oregon City Schools football coach, according to the township’s website.
