Toledo celebrates 20 leaders under 40

Toledo celebrated 20 young leaders who have distinguished themselves in their career or as a community volunteer during the 23rd annual 20 under 40 Leadership Recognition Awards program.

This year’s recipients were selected by an independent panel from a record number of 255 candidates and announced at an award ceremony Monday at the Valentine Theatre.

  • Bruce Gradkowski with the NFL, Social Gastropub, ProMedica, and Pilgrimage Hospice.
  • Lisa Hanasono with Bowling Green State University.
  • Alexis Hayman-Staples with Harold Jaffe Jewelers and the Collingwood Arts Center.
  • Rob Krain with Black Swamp Conservancy.
  • Angela Lucas with the City of Toledo.
