Ohio First Lady Fran DeWine has contracted coronavirus, the Ohio governor's office said Monday, three days after Gov. Mike DeWine was diagnosed with the same illness.
Mrs. DeWine was diagnosed by her personal physician, a statement said.
"She is experiencing symptoms similar to the governor's," it went on to state. These were detailed last week as a runny nose, headache, body aches, and a sore throat.
Mrs. DeWine has received a monoclonal antibody treatment. The governor received a monoclonal antibody treatment, as well, this past Friday evening.
"Gov. DeWine continues to have mild symptoms which have not worsened since his announcement last week," Monday's update stated.
Both Governor and First Lady continue to quarantine at home pursuant to guidelines, the announcement said.
