The Toledo Zoo Summer Kick-off Celebration will be held May 25 and 26.

Visitors will get the opportunity to experience a train ride, the splash pad, feed a gira­ffe, the new climbing wall, and zipline.

There will also be animal feeds, keeper talks, and character meet and greets.

A sensory area will be available in the ProMedica Museum of Natural History. Part of the Conda Family Zoo for All program, it will be “designed as a quiet zone, offering sensory-friendly activities with dedicated staff and volunteers ready to support any sensory needs,” according to an internet posting.
