Direct TV and AT&T U-Verse subscribers have lost access to WTOL, Channel 11.

A message on WTOL’s website urges viewers to contact Direct TV and voice their displeasure.

The local station blackout has affected about 15 markets, including Toledo and Columbus, according to the website.

“Unfortunately, DIRECTV has refused to reach a fair, market-based agreement to keep your access to local programming and our local news,” a statement on the website reads. “We are committed to reaching fair deals with every pay-TV provider because that's how we are able to deliver the absolute best local news and weather, sports and entertainment, and to be there when our neighbors need us.”
