BOWLING GREEN — The Wood County Veteran Service Office will move to a new, more accessible space in December, the group announced.

The office will move into a county-owned building at 1940 E. Gypsy Ln. effective Dec. 2. The new location has first-floor access, ample space, and improved parking, according to the Wednesday announcement.

The Wood County Veteran Service Commission supports local veterans with representation before the U.S Department of Veterans Affairs, an emergency financial assistance program, and by providing transportation to VA medical appointments, among various other programs and resources.
