The Toledo Lucas County Public Library’s Authors! series, presented by The Blade and Buckeye Broadband, continues with Dr. Michael Roizen on Jan. 22. Dr. Roizen will present his latest title, What to Eat When: A Strategic Plan to Improve Your Health and Life Through Food, which he co-wrote with Dr. Michael Crupain.
What to Eat When draws on the latest research to guide readers on what foods to eat at what point in a 24-hour cycle, with the ultimate goal of improving health, losing weight, and preventing — in some cases even reversing — disease. It was released in early January.
Dr. Roizen is the chief wellness officer at the Cleveland Clinic, chief medical consultant on The Dr. Oz Show, and the author of four New York Times best-selling books. He presents at Bowsher High School, 2200 Arlington Ave., at 7 p.m. He will host a book signing after the event.
There is no cost to attend, but RSVPs are requested. For more information or to RSVP, go to toledolibrary.org/authors.
