2. The festival celebrates African American history, culture, and the future of the community while supporting and showcasing unity. Because of the extreme heat predicted for Saturday, the parade has been postponed until Saturday, August, 24. There will also be performances from Confunkshun - “heroes of funk,” The ZAPP Band, and R&B singer Angela Winbush. Most events take place at or near Seagate Center.

3. General admission is $15 in advance with VIP tickets for $25. Tickets purchased at the door are $5 more. You can purchase tickets on Ticketmaster and at the Toledo Urban Federal Credit Union.
