Rising food costs prompt action at Mobile Meals

A fund-raiser and an awareness campaign is being created to help Mobile Meals of Toledo better deal with rising food costs, supply chain issues and increasing gas prices, the not-for-profit, social service agency announced Monday.

The effort, Toledo for Meals, is presented by Buckeye Broadband and Lamar Outdoor, with the goal of raising at least $50,000. Buckeye Broadband is the parent company of The Blade.

Those looking to take part in the Mobile Meals effort are asked to visit mobilemeals.org/toledoformeals.
