The Ohio Justice Bus — which offers free legal advice to low-income residents — will make multiple stops in Toledo this year, including later this month.
The bus, where residents can talk with a Toledo Bar Association volunteer attorney, will stop at the Toledo Lucas County Public Library’s Mott Branch, 1010 Dorr St., from 10 a.m. to noon Feb. 21.
The focus of the session will be on domestic and family law, including custody, protection orders, and divorce. There will also be a session on domestic and family law Aug. 21, at the West Toledo Branch.
On May 15, the bus will be at the Washington branch to talk consumer law issues, such as debt and bankruptcy. It will return for sessions on the same topic Nov. 20.
All sessions run 10 a.m. to noon and are first-come, first-served. Attendees are asked to bring documents that would be helpful to attorneys.
