The Arts Commission of Greater Toledo is accepting applications for the fourth round of artist rescue plan grants.
Individual artists can apply to a competitive process based on their demonstrated practice, need, and location within Toledo or Lucas County. Artists can apply for a grant of $1,500, $2,500, or $5,000. Applications are due March 9.
“The arts in our region are a major economic driver and critical contributor to the quality of life here,” said Marc Folk, Arts Commission president and CEO. “This investment has helped our individual artists recover and move toward their pre-pandemic business levels.”
In the first three cycles of the program, which started in 2022, 186 artists shared in $289,000 in grant money. The last cycle for the grant will be in 2026, finalizing distribution of the Toledo Lucas County ARPA funds for individual artists.
