Friends of the Library book sale begins Thursday

The next Friends of the Library book sale starts Thursday.

More than 30,000 “gently used” books, along with other materials, will be for sale.

The Thursday through Saturday event at the group’s 1301 N. Reynolds Rd. facility, runs from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Books will be $1 or less, with compact discs, DVDs, audiobooks on CD and cassette, records, board games, and eight-track tapes also available. On Saturday, all materials will be available for $8 per bagful.

The Friends of the Library, a nonprofit organization that promotes the ongoing development and use of the Toledo Lucas County Public Library, supports the Summer Concert Series, Authors! events, Summer Read, branch activities, and levy campaigns.

The next book sale will be April 10-12.
