Mercy Health’s next Ask the Expert online program is Thursday and will focus on kidney health.

Leah Adams, the National Kidney Foundation’s program director, “will provide an invaluable opportunity to learn about the crucial role of kidneys in maintaining overall health, as well as essential strategies for preventing kidney disease,” said Erica Blake, a Mercy Health spokesman.

The 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Zoom will cover what kidneys do, tips on lifestyle and diet choices, how to protect the kidneys, and the impact of kidney disease, she said.

The next third Thursday Ask the Expert Zoom is April 17 with podiatrist Dr. Kayla Curlis on foot health.
