The Historic Libbey House will be the venue for a celebration of the late Edward Drummond Libbey’s birthday with a free open house on Sunday.
The Libbey House Foundation and the Libbey High School alumni group will commemorate the glass industry giant and Toledo Museum of Art founder with birthday cake and punch during the open house, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The public is welcome to tour the house, including the recently renovated front porch along with updates to the stately home’s interior.

As part of the celebration Sunday, the alumni group will announce this year’s Edward Drummond Libbey Crystal Award recipient at 1 p.m. at the home.
