Forty works of art created by more than 20 local artists will be on view at the Main Library art gallery when Interconnected: A Celebration of Toledo’s Art and Artists opens Monday.
Organized in partnership between the Toledo Library and the Arts Commission of Greater Toledo, the exhibition is intended to be an opportunity for people to see the work of talented local artists.
The artists featured in Interconnected include visual, multidisciplinary, musical, performing, and literary artists. They are: Amy Beeler, Black Swamp Players, Bliss Nova, Joan Clare Brown, Debra Buchanan, Chloe & the Steel Strings, Kelci Crawford, Cyd Gottlieb, Erin Holden, Kerry Kirkpatrick, Mariah Maddox, Tom Marino, Ellie Martin, Aaron Peters, Yvette Reyes, Jaci Riley, Gabrielle Schaub, Brenda Singletary, Tim Spurchise, Ryan Thompson, and Xuanyi Wang.
The exhibit features a diverse mix of mediums, including acrylic, ceramics, glass, gouache, photography, oil, and more.
Interconnected is free and open to the public. The exhibition will remain on view in the Main Library art gallery through June 7. For more information, visit toledolibrary.org.
