A birth certificate and name change clinic will be held from noon to 7:30 p.m. April 30 in Toledo.

The clinic, sponsored by TransOhio and other equality groups, takes place in the Equality Toledo offices above Planned Parenthood, 1301 Jefferson Ave., according to an announcement on Facebook.

It’s open to residents of Lucas County and surrounding counties who need assistance with name changes and birth certificate corrections.

“Trained attorneys and notaries will be available all day to help complete forms and answer any questions,” organizers said. In addition, a food pantry will be open at the event.
