Two professors will face off in a moderated discussion on whether immigration should be open or closed in the United States.
Immigration: Open or Closed? will feature Kit Wellman, a professor of philosophy at Washington University in St. Louis, and Ilya Somin, a professor of law at George Mason University in Fairfax, Va.
The free, public discussion begins at 7 p.m. Thursday in the McQuade Law Auditorium, 1825 W. Rocket Dr., Toledo. It’s organized by the Institute of American Constitutional Thought and Leadership at the University of Toledo.
