PEMBERVILLE, Ohio — The search for a new superintendent for Eastwood schools is progressing, with the final four candidates from northwest Ohio.
The candidates are Mark Pugh, Northview High School principal with Sylvania schools; Lori Pierce, principal at Fremont schools; Brian Hughes, high school principal at Benton-Carroll-Salem schools; and Brad Contat, director of human resources with Anthony Wayne schools.
The board will conduct second interviews on Monday and proceed to final interviews on April 16.
“The board believes one of these four will be our next educational leader and we look forward to these final interviews. The board hopes to be able to name the successful candidate by late spring,” board of education President Randy Rothenbuhler said in a statement.
