The National Weather Service confirms a third tornado in the region over the weekend.
According to preliminary damage survey results, an EF0 tornado with estimated winds of 85 mph briefly touched down northwest of Bucyrus, Ohio between 1:54 a.m. and 1.56 a.m. on Saturday.
The tornado's path was approximately 2.9 miles with a maximum width of 200 yards, the weather service report said Tuesday.
No injuries were reported.
The tornado damage covered a length of just under 3 miles. It caused damage that was embedded within a larger area of straight-line wind damage, the weather service said. The location was about 90 miles southeast of Toledo.
The first tornado was confirmed late Friday late night, hitting a rural area near Antwerp in Paulding County, Ohio. The EF0 tornado touched down at 11:53 p.m. about 85 miles southwest of Toledo and caused no injuries.
On Saturday, an EF0 tornado touched down in Monroe County, causing damage but resulting in no injuries in Dundee, Mich. about 25 miles north of Toledo.
The Enhanced Fujita scale classifies tornadoes into six categories, with an EF0 being the weakest and an EF5 being the strongest. Tornadoes classified as an EF0 have wind speeds between 65 and 85 mph.
