Toledo looking for volunteers for trash pickup day

The city of Toledo’s Human Relations Commission wants volunteers to help pick up litter and other bulky items from neighborhoods.

The next clean-up event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Oct. 14 at Oakdale Elementary School, 1620 East Broadway St.

Volunteers will pick up a range of neighborhood garbage, including litter, tires, yard waste, scrap metal, appliances, and more as part of the effort to beautify neighborhoods. More information is hrc.toledo.oh.gov.
