Two emergency warming shelters will open overnight Friday due to windchills in the single digits, the city of Toledo announced. 

St. Paul’s United Methodist Church at 1201 Madison Ave., and Beach House Family Shelter at 915 N. Erie St. will be open 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. 

The warming shelter at Beach House, a Leading Families Home location, is for families only, the city said. 

Beds will not be provided at the warming shelters, the city said. Transportation is available by calling 211.
