Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity will hold its annual ReStore the Earth recycling event Saturday.

Sponsored by AIM Ecycling, it is a chance for people to drop of items to be recycled, instead of ending up in a landfill. 

Items that will be accepted for disposal Saturday at no cost are televisions and other electronics, No. 6 label styrofoam, up to four tires, cardboard, desks and desk chairs, and paper to be shredded. 

Latex paint will also be accepted for a fee of $2 per gallon.

The event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Calvary Church, 1360 Conant St., Maumee. Individuals wishing to drop off larger furniture can do so at the Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity ReStore at 1310 Conant.
