Toledo police are investigating a pair of shooting incidents over the weekend.
A South Toledo man was shot twice in his left side, according to a Toledo police report.
Jason Martin, whose age was not reported, of the 800 block of Clifton Boulevard, was taken to Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center. His injuries were reportedly not life threatening, police said.
An unknown gunman fired several shots through the front driver’s side of the vehicle, striking Mr. Martin, who was a front passenger, according to police. Two other people in the vehicle were not injured. Detectives found no evidence at two separate areas where the incident was reported.
A West Toledo man was transported to ProMedica Toledo Hospital after he was shot Sunday in the inner thigh during a large party, police said.
Fontenno G. Arnold, whose age was not reported, of the 1700 block of Wyndhurst Road, was shot or grazed on the inner thigh during a fight outside the home, according to a Toledo police report.
The incident was reported at the Wyndhurst Road home just after 1 a.m. Sunday.
Mr. Arnold was taken to ProMedica Toledo Hospital, but he was uncooperative with detectives, according to the police report.
