Any tips that help Toledo police solve the Thanksgiving shooting death of a 3-year-old could be eligible for a reward.
Police said the shooting happened as Anthony Barnes was driving with three children, traveling northbound near Collingwood Boulevard when a vehicle pulled up and opened fire. Three-year-old Malachi Barnes was fatally shot. A second child, 10 years old, was cut from broken glass. Mr. Barnes and the third child — a 2-year-old — were not injured.
Crime Stoppers tips can be made anonymously and tipsters are eligible for cash rewards, police said. The monetary amount given to tipsters is determined on a case-by-case basis by the Crime Stoppers board.
