Police continue to investigate a shooting in which three people were wounded at an after-hours club in North Toledo.
Officers were called at about 4 a.m. Sunday to 3257 Stickney Ave. for a report of shots fired.
According to police records, a bouncer told police no one was shot and slammed the door shut. A number of patrons then left the club, police said.
A short time later, Keionna Bryant, 22, Donald Buford, 31, and DeMonte Sturdevant, 24, all of Toledo, arrived at Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center with gunshot wounds.
Buford was rushed into surgery after sustaining gunshots to his abdomen. He is in critical condition, but expected to recover.
Sturdevant was shot in his upper right thigh, and Ms. Bryant was shot in her right calf. Their injuries are not life-threatening.
The incident is being investigated as a felonious assault. There was no word of arrests.
