A man whose body was found early Thursday on the University of Toledo Health Science Campus, the former Medical College of Ohio, died of a gunshot wound to the chest, according to the Lucas County Coroner’s Office.

Dr. Cynthia Beisser, deputy coroner, said there is no ruling yet on whether Odis McGee IV died by his own hand.

An autopsy on the 27-year-old was done Thursday.

The body was found on a grassy berm along West Medical Loop.
