Toledo police are seeking the public’s help in determining what happened to a Findlay man who was recently found dead in North Toledo.
The body of Horton Scarberry, 53, was found Monday at Albany and Champlain streets, where officers responded about 7:40 p.m. after receiving a report of a body. Police said the officers found the body along a tree line.
A ruling on the death is pending results of toxicology and other tests, said Dr. Diane Scala-Barnett, Lucas County coroner.
Police are looking for anyone who might have had contact with Mr. Scarberry in the hours leading up to his death.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Stopper program. Callers may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward.
