ADRIAN — The Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the deaths of two people found Tuesday morning in a Madison Township home.

At 11:27 a.m., officers responded to the 2700 block of Roosevelt Avenue in Madison Township on a report of two people who appeared to be deceased, police said. Investigators found an adult male and an elderly female inside the home.

A news release from the sheriff’s office said it appeared “that neither died from natural causes.” The sheriff’s office had not released the names the deceased as of late Tuesday.

Madison Township police and fire crews, Adrian Township police, and Michigan State Police assisted at the scene.
