The FBI and other law enforcement officials are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a bank located inside a South Toledo Walmart Thursday afternoon.
The robbery occurred at about 1:45 p.m. at Woodforest National Bank, located inside the Walmart at 2925 Glendale Ave., according to an FBI news release. Officials say a man presented a note to a teller, adding he at some point made the threat that he had a weapon but never brandished one. He then took an undisclosed amount of money and left on foot.
The suspected robber is described as a black man in his late forties to early fifties, standing at about 5 feet, 11 inches to 6 feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing a blue jacket, blue pants, sunglasses, a stocking cap, and black shoes. The man was also carrying a dark-colored satchel.
