Persons of interest identified in death of man in Monroe

The Monroe Police Department identified two persons of interest in relation to the death of a 44-year-old man found  after officers responded to a report of an unresponsive person who was bleeding from a head injury. 

Police responded Wednesday morning to Kentucky Avenue in Monroe and found  Delance Lanier, a resident of Wayne County in Michigan. Police noted he died at the scene. 

On Thursday, detectives secured two search warrants in two residences on Kentucky Avenue and interviewed several witnesses, leading investigators to reveal Krea Michelle Disabatino, 36, and Joshua Lee Doty, 35, as persons of interest in Mr. Lanier’s death.
