Toledo Fire and Rescue Department crews responded to a blaze at a West Toledo apartment that displaced several residents, according to the department.

Crews were called to the Five Points Apartment complex, 2669 Tremainsville Rd., shortly before noon on Thursday and the first engine arrived on scene in approximately four minutes, the department reported.
On scene, first responders reported heavy smoke from the multi-unit building. Firefighters worked to evacuate the apartment complex.
No injuries were reported as of Thursday afternoon, but multiple residents were reportedly displaced from their apartments, according to the department.
The American Red Cross responded to the scene.
Additionally, Sylvania Township, Rossford Fire, and Washington Township fire departments assisted by filling in at Toledo’s stations.
