Toledo police responded to multiple shootings over the weekend.
On Saturday about 3 a.m., Nekhi Villolovas, 18, of the 800 block of Atlantic Avenue in South Toledo, accidentally shot himself in the hand. He was transported to the University of Toledo Medical Center, the former Medical College of Ohio, for treatment.
Just after midnight Sunday, Shomisha Barnes, 33, was found in a driveway in the 600 block of Greene Street in South Toledo with at least one gunshot wound. Then later, about 3:30 a.m., a ShotSpotter alerted police to the 2200 block of Rosewood Avenue in central Toledo where Martrice Reddick, 31, was found with multiple gunshot wounds.
Both victims were taken to Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center for treatment and neither situation appears to be life-threatening, according to police.
