MONROE — Two people were rescued early Sunday after their boat capsized in Lake Erie near Bolles Harbor in Monroe Township, Mich.
One of the individuals in the water called for help at approximately 3:30 a.m., according to information released from the Monroe County Sheriff. At approximately 4:15 a.m., the U.S. Coast Guard rescued the individuals, whose names are being withheld. The condition of the individuals has not been released.

The Monroe Township, LaSalle Township, and city of Monroe fire departments assisted at the scene, as well as the Monroe County Ambulance.
Recovery of the capsized vessel was under way, the sheriff said.
