Toledo police seek information in '13 homicide

Police are seeking new information as they continue to investigate the 2013 death of a 29-year-old man found in the front yard of an apartment building in central Toledo.

Rudy Staples, Jr., was shot three times on July 21, 2013. Police were sent to 1506 Potomac Dr., near Fernwood Avenue, at 10:04 p.m. on a report of shots fired when they found Mr. Staples lying in the yard. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The shooting investigation drew an emotional crowd of about 100 people outside the apartment building.
