Man shot, killed on his North Toledo porch

Police are investigating after a 33-year-old man was fatally shot in North Toledo on Sunday night.

Joshua Mickhail was found with at least one gunshot wound on his front porch in the 400 block of Bronson Avenue just before 11 p.m., according to Toledo police.

He was transported to Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center where he later died.

No suspects have been arrested as of Monday morning. The circumstances of the shooting remained unclear Monday.

One arrested in North Toledo porch shooting

Several people were gathered on the covered front porch of the two-story home on Monday morning, including Mr. Mickhail’s wife. She declined to comment.

Mr. Mickhail’s death marks the 19th homicide in the city of Toledo this year.

The shooting remains under investigation. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call or text the Crime Stopper program at 419-255-1111.
