Perrysburg police investigate car break-ins

Perrysburg police are investigating several reports of car break-ins in the city over the past two weekends.

In the latest incident, four vehicles were broken into Saturday afternoon at Rotary Community Park. Some had windows smashed and items stolen, police said in a Facebook post.

Detectives are working on identifying those involved and believe they are part of a larger group not from this area, according to the statement.

Police are reminding not to leave valuables inside vehicles, to lock vehicles at all times, to be aware of the surroundings, and to report suspicious activity by calling 911.
