A man was killed in a drive-by shooting early Sunday in West Toledo, Toledo police reported.

Perrion James, 21, for whom no residence was given in the report, was found in the 900 block of Eleanor Avenue by police responding to a drive-by shooting call at 2 a.m. He was taken to Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

An investigation continued Sunday. Police asked anyone with information about the shooting to call or text the Crime Stopper program at 419-255-1100.
