Three people were killed in an accident Saturday evening in Swanton Township, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Heather G. Decair, 27, of Monclova Township, was driving west on State Rt. 64 when she went off the road and struck a tree about 7:45 p.m. near Milepost 7.

She was pronounced dead at the scene along with Barbara A. Wegener, 50, of Toledo, a front-seat passenger, and Kenneth J. Blake, 53, of Holland, who was seated in back seat.

Both Ms. Decair and Ms. Wegener were wearing safety belts, but Mr. Blake was not restrained.

The crash remains under investigation.
